Yeah true.

But if the Beibers hadn't immigrate to Canada from Germany, he could have been a nazi. Is that what you prefer?

There's a rule here Lums. If you spend most of your childhood in Canada, you're a Canadian. Don't be mad at him because you waited so long to come over.

10 games deep, 8/10 against playoff teams.

5-4-1 is pretty decent!

Winnik has looked great. offense aside, he is an advanced stats monster. A perfect fit for the 3rd line now that Clarkson is actually contributing some offense

Nice not to listen to anyone cryin about Reimer not getting the start. Bernier was solid when he had to be. I think Kessel is starting to get going here too.

To all those trolls who say Kessel doesn't make his line mates better.

Winnik tonight 1g 2a. Prior to tonight 3 helpers in 9 games.
Kadri 1g 1a. Prior to tonight, 2g 0a in 9 games.

Of course the best so far is bozak with 4g 6a in 10 games.

Kessel himself with 6g 7a in 10 games. Despite being "fat".

Winnie is great! Really admired his role and he flourished in Anaheim in third line role. solid veteran who can be counted on in all situations. Glad to see him rewarded today. We just had too many kids who have earned more ice-time and he became expendable.

he had a strong game tonight on the top line, filled in nicely for Lupul. Exactly the type of player the Leafs have been in short supply of for the past few seasons.

to be fair winnik has played mostly 3rd and 4th line duties, with some time with the struggling pair of lupul and kadri.

Love having him in the line up. He's a bull on the boards. Between him, Komarov and Clarkson our work along the boards is impressive. It's been a long time since the leafs had guys who give it their all and win the small battles that end up making things happen. Nice to have hockey players in the bottom six... Frattin didn't look good but Ashton had a major jump in his step.(hopefully not just cause he's finally seeing action).

Cudos to the Anaheim fan who posted on here a month ago who said Winnik can help out on every line if need be. Smart player.

Oh yeah....and (frank) off Lupul....seriously...(frank) off.

I wonder what type of glass it is Lupul is made of.

Talented without doubt but any time you get from him is a bonus because you can't count on him.

Falling in practice and breaking a hand? Ridiculous.

He played 5th most on the Ducks last year..... this notion that he's a 4th line plug isn't true.

And, after being interviewed he said: "I didn't think anything of it, they decided to take a picture of it as a productionary uh productionary measure."

PRODUCTIONARY? Really Joffrey...wtf man.
